The Family Institute Fosters New National and International Collaborations in the Field of Family and Population Policies
As part of the International Family Forum held in Istanbul on 22–23 May 2025, the Family Institute engaged in bilateral meetings with representatives of institutions working in the field of family and demography from Hungary, Qatar, Türkiye, and the United States.
On the sidelines of the Forum, Ms. Ayşenur Çoban, Director General of the Family Institute, also held separate bilateral meetings with Ms. Tünde Fűrész, President of the Maria Kopp Institute for Demography and Families; Dr. Sharifa Al Emadi, Executive Director of the Doha International Family Institute; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Zübeyir Nişancı, Director of the Marmara Institute for Population and Social Studies; and Ms. Sharon Slater, President of Family Watch International.
During the meetings, cooperation opportunities in the protection of family and population were discussed, and fruitful consultations were held on potential areas of collaboration between institutions and joint efforts to be undertaken on international platforms.
