As the Secretariat of the Population Policies Council, the Family Institute continues its one-on-one meetings with institutions. Hosted by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, a meeting on family and population issues was held with the Directorate General of Agricultural Reform on 9 September 2025. The meeting addressed the causes of population decline in rural areas, as well as existing and potential measures. It was emphasized that improving services and opportunities is essential to preventing rural population loss, and that this process requires inter-institutional cooperation and a multi-dimensional approach.
